April is Amputee Awareness Month, a time to recognize the resilience, achievements, and contributions of people living with limb loss and limb difference.

In support of this important cause, the CN Tower will be lit in recognition, helping raise awareness across the community. 

April 25 marks the official day of Amputee Awareness, reminding us to celebrate inclusion, accessibility, and the strength of the amputee community.

The CN Tower turns Orange for Amputee Awareness Month

In recognition of Amputee Awareness Month, Toronto’s iconic CN Tower will be illuminated orange, shining a light on the strength, resilience, and achievements of the amputee community.

By lighting the CN Tower orange and gathering the community for this special event, Limbloss Connection continues to raise awareness, celebrate lived experiences, and strengthen support networks for amputees across Canada.

John Carins (The Mountain Man)

John Carins is a REALTOR®, motivational speaker, and community leader who proves that determination can redefine what’s possible. A quadruple amputee for more than 30 years, John has built a life centered on resilience, service, and inspiring others. As President of Wheelchair of Hope, a Rotarian, and a certified life coach, he is dedicated to helping people overcome challenges and reach their full potential.

A passionate coffee lover and fitness enthusiast, John lives life without limits—having even climbed Mount Everest. Through his work and speaking engagements, he motivates audiences with powerful lessons on perseverance, mindset, and the strength of the human spirit.

Rogers Centre parking (right next door)

Located at the Rogers Centre, this is the closest garage. It’s extremely convenient but can fill up fast during games or events. Prices vary a lot depending on what’s happening nearby.


315 Front Street West garage

Just steps from the hotel, this is one of the easiest and most reliable nearby garages. It’s usually cheaper than valet and still very close.


65 Navy Wharf Court (CityPlace area)

A short walk into the CityPlace area. This option is often a bit more affordable and less crowded than the immediate Front Street garages.


352 Front Street West garage

Still very walkable and typically one of the better budget-friendly garages in the area.


400 Front Street West surface lot

An outdoor lot a few minutes away. It’s usually the cheapest option nearby, but less sheltered and can fill up.

A $20 nominal fee will help cover the cost of hosting the event. Don’t worry—we’ll make sure it’s worth it! or you can make a donation by selecting the DONATION button at the top right hand corner of the Website. limblossconnection.com.

All event fees and donations are used to support our offerings and programs for amputees. None of this money goes to any employee or volunteer.
