April is Limb Loss and Limb Difference Awareness Month, a time to recognize the resilience, achievements, and contributions of people living with limb loss and limb difference. In support of this important cause, the CN Tower will be lit in recognition, helping raise awareness across the community. April 25 marks the official day of Amputee Awareness, reminding us to celebrate inclusion, accessibility, and the strength of the amputee community.
Join us for a special evening to Illuminate, Connect, and Thrive. Together we will shine a light on the experiences of those living with limb loss and limb difference, bring the community together through meaningful connection, and celebrate the strength, resilience, and possibilities that allow individuals to thrive.

Connection is the key
Connection is key for people living with limb loss because no one should navigate this journey alone. Sharing experiences, challenges, and small victories with others who truly understand helps build confidence, resilience, and hope.
Whether it’s a conversation, support group, or simply knowing someone is there to listen, connection reminds us that healing isn’t just physical—it grows stronger through community, understanding, and support.
Are You Thinking
“There is no one that I can talk to.”
“Why do my family and friends not understand?”
“Am I the only one in my town who has lost a limb?”
“How did this happen to me?”
“I don’t think that I will be able to do the things I love.”
Do You Wish
* You knew another amputee like you that you could call
* You had a support group that understands how you feel
* You had people in my life who could guide you to resources
* You could make new friends in the limb loss community
* You could stay up to date on research and trends in limb loss
